A refreshing addition of lemon and lime to your favorite pound cake recipe.
Cake:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs, oil and zests. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and mix in wet ingredients with a spoon. Batter will be thick. Pour batter into a pound cake pan. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes until done in the center. Glaze:While cake is baking, combine lemon juice, line juice and sugar in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, and stir until sugar dissolves. When cake is done, remove from oven and immediately brush with warm glaze. Remove from pan to cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
