Kitchen Kettle Chili Recipe


Chili with a flare of Kitchen Kettle


  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cups Kitchen Kettle Zesty Salsa
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes (15 oz. cans)
  • 2-15oz. cans of Kidney Beans
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste


Place olive oil in Dutch oven on medium high heat. Add ground beef and brown. Add onion, pepper, and garlic and simmer for 10 minutes. Add salsa, kidney beans, tomatoes and spices. Continue to cook for an additional 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Check for seasoning. Serves 10-12
