Herbed Balsamic Chicken Recipe

Description

Herbed chicken, delicious served as an Entree with a side of roasted vegetables or sliced and served over a bed of salad greens.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Basin Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Basin Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours). Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for 6–7 minutes per side, until fully cooked. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted vegetables or salad.
