Brie en Croute with Fig Jam Recipe

Super easy 3 ingredient stunner of an appetizer!

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 round of your favorite Brie (I use goat milk Brie for the extra tang)
  • 1 half pint jar Kitchen Kettle Fig Jam

Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Unfold the sheet of puff pastry. Make a circle of fig jam in the middle of the pastry, about the same size as your wheel of Brie. Place the Brie on top of the fig jam. Wrap the Brie and jam in the puff pastry by bringing the corners into the center and pressing the seams together with your fingers. Flip the pastry, jam, Brie package over onto a baking sheet so the seams are on the bottom. Bake 20 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. Let cool 10-20 minutes so the Brie sets up a little and doesn't ooze out all over the plate. Serve with crackers, apple slices, pear slices.
