Blueberry and Watermelon Salad Recipe


A refreshing salad featuring blueberry preserves.


  • 4 lbs. seedless watermelon balls
  • 2-1/2 lbs. small fresh mozzarella balls
  • 4 ounces fresh chopped basil
  • 1 lb. scallions trimmed & chopped
  • 1 lb. baby salad greens
  • 1-1/2 lbs. fresh blueberries
  • 1 lb. toasted almonds
  • 4 ounces Olive Basin Arbosana Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 ounces Olive Basin Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 6 ounces Kitchen Kettle Blueberry Preserves (melted)
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Toss mozzarella balls, fresh basil, watermelon, scallions, blueberries & toasted almonds. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place on top of baby salad greens and drizzle with blueberry vinaigrette (allow vinaigrette to marinate for one hour before drizzling on salad).
