Apple Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes Recipe


A great complement to a Lancaster County Baked Ham.


  • 2 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1/2 c. Kitchen Kettle Apple Cinnamon Jelly
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground mace


Cut potatoes in 1/2 inch slices and arrange in an ungreased baking dish. Slice the apples in 1/2 inch slices. Layer on top of sweet potato slices. Stir remaining ingredients together except jelly. Sprinkle sugar mixture over potatoes and apples, then dab jelly across top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
