Apple Butter Barbecue Ribs Recipe

Description

This is one of the winning entries to our recipe contest!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Country Style or St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, boneless or bone in
  • 1/2 c. Kitchen Kettle Apple Butter Grilling Sauce
  • 1/4 c. Kitchen Kettle Hickory Smoke Grilling Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix the apple butter grilling sauce, hickory smoke grilling sauce and brown sugar. Add more as needed or to taste. Place the ribs on a platter and drizzle the marinade over the ribs. Place in the refrigerator and allow to sit for 30 minutes to an hour.

Grill the ribs, on medium heat. Discard the remainder of the marinade. Make sure to cook the ribs thoroughly, until the meat is white. Depending on the size of the ribs, usually around 20 minutes. Be careful not to have the grill too hot or the outside of the ribs will burn, especially with the marinade on them. Be sure to turn the ribs periodically. Remove ribs and place on a platter. Add more Kitchen Kettle sauce to the finished product if you prefer.
