Apple & Black Raspberry Crisp Recipe


The 2010 Kettle Berry Cooking Challenge winner.


  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsps baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • Mix all above ingredients and set aside
  • 26-30 peeled and sliced apples
  • 1-10 oz. (1/2 pint) jar Kitchen Kettle Seedless Black Raspberry Jam (melted)
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar


Mix apples together with cinnamon, brown sugar and black raspberry preserves. Place apple mixture in a large pan. Place crumble mixture on top of apples. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until crisp is golden brown
Yields 20 servings.
