Apple and Black Raspberry Crisp Recipe


A 2010 Kitchen Kettle Recipe Contest Winner.


  • Crumb Topping:
  • 4 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • Filling:
  • 26-30 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 half pint jar Kitchen Kettle Seedless Black Raspberry Jam, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. brown sugar


Combine topping ingredients and set aside. Mix apples together with cinnamon, brown sugar and black raspberry preserves. Place apple mixture in a large pan. Place crumb mixture on top of apples. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until crisp is golden brown.
