Awards

Awards of gift certificates will be given to the first, second, and third in each category, as well as a Judges Choice Appearance award and a $250 cash prize for Best of Show.

Contest Rules

1. All entries must be a pie, cake, or other dessert and include some form of rhubarb.
2. There are 3 categories: Rhubarb Pie, Rhubarb Cake & Rhubarb Dessert.
3. You may only enter in up to two categories and you are limited to two entries per category for judging.
4. You are only eligible to enter a maximum of four entries for judging however, you may donate as many pies, cakes, or desserts as you like to raise money for The Lancaster Farmland Trust.
5. The recipe, name, address, and phone number must be included with each entry. Please type or neatly print your recipe. Also, provide a sheet of 8-10 labels with the name of each entry and whether it contains nuts (used for when we sell the baked goods to the public). You need not be present to win. 
6. All entries are to be in a disposable container - containers will not be returned.
7. All recipes become the property of Kitchen Kettle Village and can be used as part of our public relations efforts in promoting the Rhubarb Festival.
8. Entries must be brought to the Harvest Café at Kitchen Kettle Village between 7:45am - 8:50am on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
