Ham Loaf Recipe


Simple spin on Ham Loaf!


  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup finely crushed crackers (appox. 14 saltines)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds of ground ham loaf mix (Bell's own)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons orange or pineapple juice


Combine eggs, milk, crushed crackers, onion, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard and pepper. Add ground meat; mix well. Shape into an 8x4 inch loaf and place in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Back in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
Glaze: Combine brown sugar, fruit juice, and dry mustard. If desired add 1/4 cup crushed pineapple. Spoon glaze over loaf. Bake 20 minutes more, basting with sauce occasionally. Makes 8 to 10 servings. 352 calories per serving.
