Delicious topping for goat chees, brie or even ice cream!
- 1 cup frozen dark cherries , thawed & drained
- 1/4 cup Kitchen Kettle Rhubarb Jam
- 1 teaspoon Olive Basin Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
- Pinch of nutmeg
In a small saucepan, combine the cherries, rhubarb jam, balsamic vinegar and nutmeg. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5-8 minutes, or until mixture thickens slightly. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
To serve: use as a topping for goat cheese or on a wheel of brie. Simply place brie in an oven safe pan, remove the top rind, and top with the Cherry Rhubarb Sensation. Bake at 350F until brie is soft. Serve with crackers.
