Enjoy this sweet and spicy topping on your next batch of biscuits.
- 1-1/2 cups Bisquick
- 1/2 cup lowfat or nonfat milk
- 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp. Kitchen Kettle Cherry Jam
- 2 tbsp. Kitchen Kettle Jalapeno Jam
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a small bowl, stir together Bisquick Mix, milk and sharp cheddar cheese with a fork until combined and soft dough is formed. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreasaed cookie sheet. Use the back of a teaspoon (which has been dipped into the Bisquick Mix) to make an indentation in each biscuit. Place a heaping teaspoon of Cherry Jam and Jalapeno Jam into each indentation. Bake 7-9 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8-9 biscuits, depending on the size you prefer.
