At Kitchen Kettle Village there are lots of ways to roll up your sleeves and experience Lancaster County!

Dance, twirl, and be a kid again! At Kitchen Kettle Village you can immerse yourself in an authentic Lancaster County experience. Whether you take a behind-the-scenes tour, sit and take in the pristine Lancaster County farmland view, roll-up your sleeves and “put up” a batch of our famous jam, or learn how to hand-stitch your own quilt, you’ll take home some of the heritage of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

Cannin’ & Jammin’

Make a batch of jelly alongside our local farm women and experience the art of canning in Lancaster County.

Kitchen Chat
An interactive “chat” about the heritage of Kitchen Kettle Village and the small-batch canning process we still use today - all while watching local farm women “put up” jams and jellies in our kitchen.

A Taste of Kitchen Kettle Walking Tour
A behind-the-scenes tour full of stories about the characters who built Kitchen Kettle Village. Get to know this community of shopkeepers while you eat your way through food and fun!
90 Minutes.
$20 per person (group rates available)
Offered Fri. at 9:30am or by group reservation.

Quilt Shop Hop
Our professional quilter escorts you and others in your vehicle to various quilt shops in the area and shares ideas about colors and design.
3-6 hours.
$150 for 2 people, $25 for each additional person in the same vehicle. Lunch is included.
Offered Mon.-Fri. at 10am.
*2-week advance reservation required.

Quilting Class
Personalized instruction and hands-on experience includes hoop set up and hands-on quilting and a quilt packet that contains all that it takes to begin a quilt project.

$80 per person

Quilt Chat
An introduction to quilts, how to create an heirloom, the difference between a quilt as an heirloom and as a souvenir. Questions encouraged. No question is too basic!
15 minutes.
