What’s cooking? Lot’s of homemade tailgate foods — salsas, pickles, burgers, dips, salads and delectable drinks with a focus on bacon! Be sure to stop by our tailgate hospitality tents for a sample.

Don't miss the special tribute to Banjo Jimmy, who performed in the Village for over 30 years, and recently passed away. On Saturday, 9/15 from 1:30-3:30pm The Heart & Soul Bluegrass Band will perform in his honor. Two of Banjo Jimmy's former band mates, Ed Mummert & Jack Gabriel, will join in for a few songs. We will also have one of Jimmy's banjos on display throughout the day.

New this year is our 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament from 9am-Noon on Saturday, Sept. 15th. The cost is $25 per team (with a small processing fee) and you receive a fun swag bag and the opportunity to win cash prizes & gift certificates. Click here to register!

In the heart of Lancaster County, we’re celebrating autumn and tailgate season. I love this time of year when our Village comes alive with themed scarecrows, pumpkins and corn shocks. Every year Kitchen Kettle Village pays tribute to tailgating season with a two-day food festival filled with delicious and sometimes crazy events.

There are plenty of activities for young and old, families and couples alike. See the sports themed scarecrows throughout the village and vote for your favorite. Savor a tasty sample of homemade tailgate foods at one of our sampling tables, grills or restaurants. Tap your toes to a Dixieland Band. Compete at our Pumpkin Whoopie Pie Filling Contest.

Don't miss the Tailgate Games area on Saturday including a bounce house, tailgate toss, pumpkin bowling & face painting and the Tailgate Parade at noon featuring the Pequea Valley Band, cheerleaders and more!

We can’t wait to see you at this year’s Tailgate Festival in Intercourse, Pa.
